In the spirit of tradition, AskGamblers dedicates a Month of Giving annually, following several months after the culmination of the AskGamblers Awards and Charity Night auction. This year, a substantial €75,000, the product of charitable efforts during Charity Night, will find its way to two distinct organizations: the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and UNICEF.
To break it down further, €40,000 will be allocated to the Danish Refugee Council, focusing on the improvement of child-friendly spaces (CFS) services within the refugee camps of Nduta and Nyarugusu in Tanzania.
In parallel, €35,000 will be designated for UNICEF’s initiative called ‘Investing in Core Resources for Core Results for Children in Serbia.’ This endeavor targets the support of underprivileged children residing in extensive households, rural environments, and Roma settlements.
To delve into specifics, these funds will be utilized for the enhancement of kindergartens and the facilitation of assistive technology for early intervention centers. The overarching objective is to bring about positive transformations in the lives of children.
